Vrexo is a small team solving a specific, measurable problem: the volume of repetitive L1 and L2 tickets that consume most of an MSP engineer's day. We are not building a copilot. We are building infrastructure that resolves tickets without asking for help.

How the process works

Four steps, typically two to three weeks end to end. You always know which step you are in and what comes next. We respond to every application.

Screening interview

30 min

A conversation, not an interrogation. We walk through your background, what you are looking for, and whether the role matches it. You will leave knowing exactly what the job is, including the unglamorous parts.

Job-specific interview

45-60 min

Deep dive on the skills the role actually uses, with someone who does that work. Engineers talk architecture and debugging. Solutions roles walk through a real deployment scenario. No riddles, no whiteboard theater.

Case story

Timed, 2-4 hours

A real scenario from our world with a fixed time budget. You present your work in STAR format: the Situation you faced, the Task you owned, the Action you took, and the Result you can point to. We care about how you reason under constraints, not about a perfect answer.

Hiring manager + specialist

45 min

Final round with the hiring manager and a specialist in your area. They have already read your case story. This round is about working style, judgment, and whether we both want to do hard work together.

Why STAR

We evaluate case stories in STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result) because it mirrors how we work: decisions written down with their context and their outcome. If you can tell us what you faced, what you owned, what you did, and what happened, you already think the way this team operates.

Resolve, don't suggest

The product executes instead of suggesting, and the team works the same way. Bring the decision, not the open question. If you need input, bring a recommendation with it.

Structure over heroics

We do not celebrate firefighting. We celebrate the fix that makes the fire impossible. If something needed a hero, the system failed and we treat it that way.

Written reasoning

Decisions are written down with their why. Knowledge that lives in one person's head is a liability we are literally in business to eliminate; we hold ourselves to the same standard.

Measured by outcomes

Remote and async-first. Nobody counts your hours or your online dot. Tickets resolve or they do not, deployments work or they do not. The work speaks.

Senior Software Engineer, Platform

Full-timeRemote (US)

Own the core resolution engine: classification pipeline, execution layer, and PSA/RMM integrations.

You will work on the core resolution engine: the classification pipeline, the execution layer, and the integrations that connect Vrexo to PSA and RMM platforms. This is low-level work on high-stakes systems. Tickets are resolved or not. There is no ambiguity in the success metric.

What we are looking for
  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Go
  • Experience with ML inference pipelines or real-time event-driven systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (a strong plus)
  • Comfort operating in an environment where you own what you ship

Solutions Engineer

Full-timeRemote (US)

Own the technical side of every new customer deployment, from stack mapping to first resolved tickets.

You will own the technical side of every new customer deployment. That means understanding the MSP's existing stack, mapping their runbooks into Vrexo's configuration, and making sure the first live tickets are resolved correctly. You are the bridge between sales and the engineering team.

What we are looking for
  • Experience in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role
  • Working knowledge of MSP tooling: ConnectWise, Autotask, Datto, NinjaRMM, Entra ID
  • Ability to read and debug configuration-level issues without hand-holding
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Background in MSP operations is a significant advantage

Customer Success Lead

Full-timeRemote (US)

Own the post-deployment relationship: resolution rates, automation gaps, QBRs, and provable ROI.

You will manage the post-deployment relationship with our MSP customers. That means tracking resolution rates, identifying automation gaps, running quarterly business reviews, and making sure customers can prove ROI to their own leadership. You are accountable for retention.

What we are looking for
  • 3+ years in customer success, account management, or a similar role at a B2B SaaS company
  • Analytical: comfortable working with ticket data and producing ROI-focused reports
  • Experience with IT services or MSP industry is a strong plus
  • Proactive communicator who escalates early and follows through
